The NASD Human Resources Department is responsible for the employment of over 1000 Norristown Area School District employees. This department coordinates all personnel operations and administers non-cash benefits to all the districts’ full-time employees.
The department’s mission is to provide high quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. We look to establish policies, systems, and programs that will enable NASD to attract, motivate, and retain employees and therefore become the Employer of Choice within the Pennsylvania Public School System. The efforts of the HR Department allow NASD employees to have the resources and opportunities to develop to the best of their abilities.
