NASD Technology

The Norristown Area School District Technology Services Department manages and maintains a robust landscape of different technologies.

We support a 1-1 program that includes over 10,000 devices across all 13 of our buildings. The devices include Google Chromebooks, Windows Desktops and Laptops, Apple iMacs, MacBooks, iPads, Smartboards, Projectors, and Interactive Smart Panels.

All devices connect to our amazingly fast 20 gig fiber optic Cisco network spanning the entire district. Wireless devices can connect with 802.11ax to any of our 655 Aruba access points.

We are also providing 4Gbps internet access via the Mongomery County Intermediate Unit for today's media-rich learning activities and to support our 1-1 Devices.
