Candy cane sales are happening during lunches for the rest of the week. Candy canes cost $1 and help us raise money for our student council. Please help us by reminding your scholars to purchase a candy cane gram at lunch! Las ventas de bastones de caramelo se realizarán durante los almuerzos durante el resto de la semana. Some of Blockson’s 5th grade scholars researched Native American tribes as an extension to their ELA novel, Thunder Rolling in the Mountains, and in celebration of Native American Heritage Month for Social Studies. They were required to research, create a poster, and present their work to the class. Great News! Blockson Middle School will be open for in-person learning as usual tomorrow, Tuesday, November 12. The plumbing repairs have been completed, and we’re ready to welcome students back. We truly appreciate your patience and flexibility as you adjusted your plans today. Thank you for your support!

Blockson Middle School will be operating on a 2 hour delay VIRTUAL schedule tomorrow, 11/11/2024. Please see the schedule attached. Google meet codes will be posted in teacher schoology pages.

Dear Blockson Families and learners, Our District Operations team has identified a plumbing problem at Blockson Middle School that requires immediate attention.  We have been informed that the necessary repairs will not be completed until sometime on Monday.  Unfortunately, we are not able to hold in-person operations at Blockson until the repairs are completed.   Therefore, Blockson Middle School students WILL NOT report to school on Monday, November 11, 2024.  All students will participate virtually on Monday, with live, synchronous teaching and learning provided.  Only Blockson Middle School will have a virtual day, as no other district buildings are affected.  
 To allow teachers time to adjust for virtual instruction on Monday, students will follow a two hour delay schedule. Our teachers will share the link for their classes with the students. Please click the link below for the daily schedule. Attendance will be taken during each period.
