On Monday, November 4, the students voted for the name of the Whitehall wildcat. Leading up to the vote, teachers discussed voting with the students. Each class was then submitted a name, the teachers and staff then voted which narrowed the selection down to 3 names: Wally the Wildcat, Mr. Whiskers, and Wyatt. After the votes were counted, the students voted to have Mr. Whiskers as the name of the wildcat. Students were excited to be a part of the democratic process.
