Paul V. Fly Elementary School, named for the first school board president, (1965-1968) is located in East Norriton Township, with a portion of its over 525 student population also drawn from the Municipality of Norristown, creating a microcosm of the world, rich in diversity.

In 2001, the school was chosen as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.

Today, Paul V. Fly Elementary proudly hosts Kindergarten through Fourth Grade and is home to more than 525 Eaglettes!

There are five classrooms of Kindergarten, Third and Fourth Grade and four classrooms assigned to 1st and 2nd Grade. We provide Special Education Services, Speech Therapy, Guidance Services, Instructional Support Services, and Academic Support Services. Our professional staff includes a District Psychologist, a Gifted Teacher, two ESL Teachers, five Special Area Teachers for Art, Health/Wellness/Physical Education, Library and Music. Our Health Room is home to our Certified School Nurse. We have an Orchestra/String/Band Instrument Teacher on staff.

The school is proud to have an active Parent Faculty Club which has been instrumental in supporting the schools efforts in achieving academic excellence. The PFC meets the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM. All are welcome to be the first to find out what is happening in our school!

Among other offerings, the school implements a character education approach, school-wide positive behavior supports (SWPBS) program where we teach, monitor, and support appropriate school behavior for all students at all times, promoting the Six Pillars of Character- trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, citizenship and Restorative Practices.

MISSION:
The mission of Paul V. Fly Elementary is to provide our diverse student body an education in a supportive, safe environment that welcomes all, promotes character education, self-discipline, high levels of motivation, a sense of belonging and excellence in learning. Paul V. Fly Elementary joins the community and parents to assist the students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient citizens who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a global community.

VISION:
Paul V. Fly is committed to the development of each student to their potential. In order to fulfill this commitment, we will provide an effective education that addresses social skills, creativity, and critical thinking; thereby allowing students to become problem solvers, lifelong learners, and productive members of society. In addition, we will encourage community and family involvement in order to foster an environment of mutual respect and trust, as well as promote social, intellectual, and emotional growth among all students.
