Please join us for our Second Annual Theatre Carnival on Saturday, April 1st from 1:30 to 4:30 in the Norristown Area High School cafeteria. Admission is free—that’s right, free. We have singers, rappers, actors, dancers, face painting, balloon animals, and more! This event is family friendly and fun for all ages. Not only are NAHS students performing, but also communities and organizations from all around Norristown.
Summer Bereavement Camp Millie: Bringing laughter and joy into the lives of grieving children ages 6 – young teen while providing the opportunity to share experiences with loss, identify personal strengths and bond with peers. A Camp Millie connection offers friendship, acceptance and hope.

The focus of February was learning about the heart and how exercise (jumping rope) can strengthen your heart. Students practiced jumping rope in P.E. class and rotated through different activities such as: single rope jumping, partner/small group jumping, long rope jumping and double-dutch activities.

Art students in grades first, second, third and fourth discussed the current trend of taking selfies. We compared selfies to the art tradition of making self-portraits. Students viewed examples of famous self-portraits. They learned artists use their skills of observation when drawing from life.
